Terms of Trial Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 31 October 2026
1. Acceptance
By checking “I agree” and creating a trial account, you (the “Customer”, acting for your cooperative or organization) agree to these Terms of Trial Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register or use the Service.
2. Trial nature — no paid contract
The trial of Premium CBS / Premium CBS Lite (the “Service”) is free, time-limited (for example 30 days), feature-limited, and provided for evaluation only. It is not a production service commitment, service-level agreement (SLA), or guarantee of continuity, support level, or fitness for regulated production use unless we later enter a separate paid agreement with you.
Trial limits (such as member and account caps) may apply and may change. Exceeding limits may block further use until you upgrade or reduce usage.
3. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for: the accuracy of registration and member, account, and ledger data you enter or import; authorizing only appropriate staff to use the workspace; keeping admin credentials confidential; exporting and retaining your own backups of any data you care about; compliance with cooperative, tax, AML/CFT, and other laws that apply to your operations; and verifying any migrated or imported figures before relying on them for decisions, audits, member statements, or statutory books.
4. Data loss — no responsibility for trial data
Trial data may be deleted, corrupted, incomplete, or unavailable at any time (including on expiry, reset, maintenance, failure, or operator action).
We have no obligation to retain, restore, or recover trial data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any data loss arising from trial use, including accidental deletion, failed imports, or end of trial.
5. Data security — no warranty
We apply commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate for a trial SaaS environment, but we do not warrant that the Service is free of bugs, outages, unauthorized access, or security incidents. You use the trial at your own risk regarding confidentiality and integrity of uploaded data.
You must not upload more sensitive data than needed to evaluate the product. Any paid-plan security commitments apply only if stated in a later written agreement.
Duties regarding personal data we process are described in the Privacy Policy and are not waived beyond what applicable law allows.
6. Training and support
The trial includes whatever documentation and help we choose to provide. We do not warrant training quality, completeness, or outcomes. Misconfiguration after following guides or support tips remains your responsibility.
7. Migrations and data accuracy
Migration and import tools (members, GL, accounts, transactions, and related helpers) are best-effort evaluation aids. We do not warrant that imports are complete, correctly mapped, balanced, or suitable for statutory books.
You must independently verify balances, vouchers, member accounts, and reports after any import. We are not liable for migration mapping errors, missing rows, duplicate posts, or decisions made on imported data.
8. No professional advice
The Service is software, not legal, audit, tax, or regulatory advice. Reports and dashboards are operational aids only.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service for unlawful content, abuse, probing other tenants, reverse engineering beyond what applicable law allows, or resale of the trial as a hosted service to third parties without our written consent.
10. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own the Service. You retain ownership of your content and data. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content as needed to operate the trial.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE TRIAL SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for loss of data, business interruption, or inaccurate books or reports; and our total aggregate liability arising from the trial is limited to NPR 0 (zero), or if a court requires a minimum, the lesser of NPR 1,000 and what mandatory law requires.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Nepal (for example fraud or willful misconduct where mandatory).
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your data, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of law or these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the trial at any time. On expiry or termination we may delete the tenant and its data without notice. Conversion to a paid plan is under separate terms.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. New signups must accept the then-current version. Material changes for existing trials may be notified in-product or by email where practical.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, disputes shall be subject to the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
